Leaving the hotel, we find ourselves on Széchényi Square, which is the center of the city’s social life. Through the promenade of the square, we arrive at Kárász Street, which is the pedestrian street of Szeged. Here we can find famous shops, cafes and restaurants.
Arriving through Kárász Street, we can admire the musical fountain in Dugonics Square opposite the Main Building of the University of Szeged.
From here, it is just a short walk to Dóm Square.
From Dóm Square, we can return to the Hotel by touching the Móra Ferenc Museum on the banks of the Tisza River, the Szeged National Theatre and the ruins of the Szeged Castle, along the Stefánia Park.
Many of Szeged’s attractions are within a 15-minute walk, including the New Synagogue.
